SCHWING fluidized bed systems offer standard chamber sizes up to 36 inches in diameter and up to 60 inches deep. This makes them suitable for small and medium sized parts. Special versions allow for heat treatment of components up to a length of 96 inches.

SCHWING systems heat up automatically to 2,200° F with constant homogeneity of ±5° F throughout the fluidized volume. This makes the environmentally friendly fluidized bed systems reliable and economical for heat treatments of steel, stainless steels, and non-ferrous materials.

Fluidized bed are also used for the rapid cooling or quenching of materials.
